Slow down, sip something warm, and loosen up your brush. Students will explore quick, expressive watercolor sketches inspired by everyday café favorites—coffee cups, teacups, mugs, and all those lovely little details that make them so fun to paint. This class focuses on loose, fast watercolor sketching, a relaxed approach that’s perfect as a warm-up for larger paintings and as a standalone practice for artists on the go. We’ll work small, paint quickly, and train our eyes to capture shape, light, and character without overthinking or overworking the page. Watercolor sketching is all about observation, confidence, and letting the paint do its thing. Expect an easygoing, encouraging atmosphere where perfection is not the goal—connection and practice are. Whether you’re new to watercolor or looking to loosen up your style, this class is a cozy, creativity-boosting way to play with paint and see the beauty in everyday moments.
